You’ll get valuable insight into DARPA’s emerging technical priorities, breakthrough technologies, and practical pathways for aligning your ideas with national security needs. Faculty, students, and industry partners are highly encouraged to register.
- The WISER Summer Program 2026 on the topic “What is the future of optimization? Classical + AI + Quantum” begins June 8 and runs through July 31, with projects and demos continuing into September. The program is fully virtual and includes live sessions, recordings, speaker talks, technical sessions, lab tours, projects, and Demo Day. It is designed for students, researchers, and early-career professionals interested in quantum computing, AI, optimization, and real-world applications. Students should select the Students & Scholars ticket and enter “UniFree26” at checkout to make the ticket free.
- unitaryHACK is a hackathon run by the Unitary Foundation (UF), which supports open source tools contributing to a more functional and fully-featured quantum computing stack. The hackathon will be held July 3-17, 2026. Participation is free – register here.
- Midwest Quantum Collaboratory Entanglement 2026: To be held July 21-22 at Purdue. Registration is now open: MQC Entanglement Registration. Students and postdocs are strongly encouraged to present a poster.
- PQSEI Summer School: To be held July 23-24. Open to all but students and postdocs are strongly encouraged to attend. Will include lectures from experts, demos, and panel discussions focused on career development in the quantum ecosystem. Registration is open now.
- The US CLIVAR Workshop on Quantum Computing and Sensing for Weather and Climate Applications will take place August 3–5, 2026, in Boulder, CO, and online. Join climate scientists and quantum specialists in bridging conceptual gaps and exploring pathways for integrating quantum computing and sensing into existing climate research frameworks. Abstracts can be submitted here and will be accepted through July 19, 2026.
