Dr. Roth’s Computational Quantum Electromagnetics Lab at Purdue develops efficient multiscale and multiphysics modeling methods to enable the systematic engineering of quantum information processing hardware. The team approaches these problems by developing novel mathematical models for quantum systems that can leverage the latest advances in robust and efficient numerical modeling methods, typically yielding orders of magnitude improvements in efficiency compared to existing methodologies.
