Andreas Jung
Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy
Research Interests
Vacuum fluctuation effects
Research Impact
The current research of Dr Jung and his group focuses on quantum informatics with applications of quantum machine learning to solve real-life problems in supply chain and others, as well as R&D for highly integrated electric circuits to track charged particles in high energy collisions including quantum sensing with novel applications for particle physics. One of the specialties of the Jung group is to leverage AI and ML applications to analyze vast data sets at the Large Hadron Collider with respect to top quark quantum tomography.
